Essay1-02c:Our university life for exchange students

Hi! We are student of KGU. We entered KGU last year. We belong to the department of foreign languages at KGU. University life is very happy every day because KGU is very good place. Our university has many good points. So, we think that you have to need to know about KGU. So, we think that we will introduce for exchange students need to know and want to know about KGU.

First, one thing which we think exchange students need to know is LAWSON. This is a convenience store in KGU. Food and drink are sold there. We use there well to buy food in lunch. When we go there in lunch time, there is crowded with many students. We like spaghetti salad which is sold there. It is delicious. we recommend you to eat it. In addition, there are copy machines in LAWSON . It is very convenient because we can copy it after buying food.

Second, we will talk about a section of library. Library is very big and clean. In addition, there are many computers, foreign newspapers, books, DVD and CD . It is comfortable to take a rest and to study there. And library is open until night 10:00 for the Monday through Saturday. In addition, library is open on Sunday until 5:00 of the evening. So we can spend much time there. We often read foreign newspapers. And, we sometimes write own homework. The library is opened on a holiday. So, we think that it is very convenient.

Third, there are many exchange students in KGU. There is a place in which we can talk with them. The place is called English Lounge. A lot of events are held in the room. For example, Christmas party and Halloween party are held there. Anyone can participate in these events. These events are very fun. We think that you can enjoy it if you participate in these events. There are many toys in the lounge. If you come to the lounge, you can establish communication with the people that are in the room while playing games.
We think you can be good at English if you come there.

Fourth, we will talk about circles and clubs. There are many circles and clubs in KGU. There are about 100 circles and clubs. If you belong to the club or circle, you'll be able to make friends. Many events are held in each circles and clubs. For example, we do barbecue, look at fireworks, and travel somewhere. They are very pleasant. Our friend who belongs to same clubs with us is very kind and hears our trouble. When the school festival, each circle and club make the piece or open a stall. So, it is very warm up.

Fifth, we will talk about other buildings. We want to teach attached school of KGU. It has a high school, a junior high school, and a preschool. A junior high school was built in about two years ago so it is very clean. A high school is being built near the university. So, we can see their ground from our library. Students of high school looks like enjoy their high school life. They sometimes come to a LAWSON and a bakery. They are very cheerful every day. So, sometimes, we give vigor from high school students.

Sixth, KGU has many buildings. There are about nine buildings and classrooms in each building. One building has seven floors. There are stairs but if our class is held at an upper floor, we should use it. It is very hard. So we can use elevators. We think that it is very convenient because not only people whose class is held at an upper floor but also the people that can’t use stairs such as injury or illness need it. Each elevator has a weight limit, so you need to take care when you take it.

Seventh, KGU is located in a convenient place. It is located in the central part of the city of Kumamoto. There are a station and a bus stop near KGU. It is very convenient for people that have to use means of transportation. If you use a streetcar, you can go to Kami kumamoto to Kengun, and you need to pay only ￥150, if streetcar transport you how distance. There are busy streets near this university, so we can go there when we have spare time and after our class was over. There are a lot of restaurants there. We recommend you to go there.

Eighth, we will talk about PC. There are many PCs in KGU. For example, there are it in building No. 11, 14 and library. And, some classes use computers at these time. It is very useful and convenient when we want to examine something. So, we can do homework at school. It is helpful for us very much. These PCs are accessible to all students.

Last, we can't write here all things about KGU. However, there is a more wonderful place in KGU. We are glad if our life is slightly helpful for you while you spend from now on in KGU.
